BLD One of the best brunch spots in Los Angeles

Ricotta and Blueberry pancakes.

Pardon the punctuation...Undecided on where to go to brunch in LA? Let me make this easy for you. Your first and last stop should be BLD.  If you need to bring Fido a long don't worry, They are pet friendly too.  Smack dab in the heart of Los Angeles on Beverly Blvd is where you find this foodie institution.  Here's what I had.

• French Press coffee: The coffee was low acid and just delicious. Would definitely have again.
• Ricotta and Blueberry Pancakes: These guys were the stars of the show. The batter was light and fluffy with just the hint of ricotta cheese that brought out the flavor and sweetness of the blueberries. They come served with a cute little tin of Berkshire maple syrup which makes all the difference in the world. 
• Spanish Frittata: The perfect bit f savory to go along with my pancakes. They come with house made chorizo, fingerling potatoes, roasted piquillo peppers, paprika, manchego cheese, and your choice of bread and potatoes. My wife and I went with brioche toast and roasted potatoes with chorizo mixed in.

Like the Terminator "I'll be back" to BLD in the near future. Great service, value, and of course amazing food.
